Joining a club can be one of the biggest aids in keeping you active and motivated in your chosen activity.

The support and friendships that develop by being a member of a group not only make your participation more enjoyable, but make you much more likely to stay involved and to reach your goals. Don't underestimate the social side of being a member and who knows, you may even find yourself volunteering to be on a committee at some stage to further develop your club.
